"Presented to my brother in arms Captain Perez."
— Warlord Al Hekmatyar

The Warlord is an Exotic Assault Rifle in Tom Clancy's The Division. Only available through the Incursion Falcon Lost on Challenging mode.

In Game

As a unique variant of the AK-47 the weapon handling is the same, however the Warlord, being an Exotic variant, comes with two randomized talents and a unique one that will always be the same. It is however possible to get a high or lower roll on the damage per shot. Because it is a unique named weapon it comes with it's own skin, showing some original wooden parts with silver and gold parts furnishing the gun, giving it a very expensive and flashy appearance.

In terms of performance, the Warlord is still an AK47 and will have plenty of horizontal recoil, so make sure to fit horizontal stability mods as needed on the muzzle and grip to vastly improve the handling of this high damage per shot weapon.

TalentsEdit

For the Warlord, the first two talents are rolled at random. The third talent is fixed.

Warlord - When firing, damage taken is reduced by 20%. The damage is then applied when no longer firing

  • This talent can be risky to use, as it can deal fatal damage when you stop firing.
    • There damage is applied after a certain amount of time, which can give players some time to heal themselves to take the damage.

Real world version Edit

The AKM is an improved version of the AK-47, featuring a number of refinements such as a stamped receiver (as opposed to the milled steel receiver of the original AK-47), a slant compensator on the tip of the barrel (to reduce recoil), an improved gas tube (without vents), and use of lighter materials to reduce weight and simplify construction.

Most of the AKMs seen in Hollywood movies are actually Egyptian Maadi MISR copies, which were sold in the U.S. as the ARM in the 1980s - such weapons were first procured by Stembridge Gun Rentals for Red Dawn and subsequently re-used in numerous other motion pictures. The Maadi is almost identical to the original Soviet-built AKM, save for the markings, and is nearly impossible to tell apart.
